FUTURA Vorsorge reaches 4. billion balance sheet total

With B. Braun Medical AG, based in Sempach (LU) and with over 1,000 employees, FUTURA from Lupfig (AG) welcomed its largest customer since the foundation was established, will reach the fourth billion with this new addition and now manages around 27,000 insured persons. This makes FUTURA one of the largest pension funds in Switzerland.

The Swiss subsidiary of the B. Braun Group - a global manufacturer of medical technology and pharmaceutical products and services - is celebrating its 50th birthday this year. B. Braun Medical AG operates three production sites, a sterile supply facility and three dialysis centers in Switzerland.

FUTURA, founded in 1958, turned 65 this year - not a milestone anniversary, but one with special significance in the pension fund world. Four fiduciary companies from the regions of Baden (AG), St. Gallen, Zurich and Lucerne were among the founding fathers of FUTURA. Still full of vision, FUTURA is a long way from retirement. It is therefore fitting that the foundation was able to gain an important and future-oriented customer in B. Braun Medical AG, which was founded in 1973. "Managing the pension assets of the employees of a leading provider in the healthcare market makes us very proud," says Rolf Lüscher, CEO of FUTURA.
